I used to play football for Port Vale academy, I am also a qualified beach lifeguard.
Alex spent three and half years as a chef working at Duck & Waffle in London under the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts Scholarship making him a great asset to the Platinum Chef Division.
As a northerner moving down south, I love to spend my weekends at the beach surfing or spear fishing. Football, cycling and swimming also appear in my weekend rota.
After spending five years as a chef, I wanted to change the scenery of a kitchen whilst putting my experience to good use. As soon as I started at Platinum I knew it was the right choice for my career. The team made me feel welcome from the moment I got there, they offer so much opportunity to get involved with everything they do from outside events to a work 6 a side football team. The lunchtime games of pool always offer some big rivalries and entertainment.
